About Me
I have been experimenting with calligraphy since I was taught cursive writing in third grade. As I discovered different writing styles, I challenged myself to learn each one and can now replicate almost any style. 
My fascination with writing styles became a hobby and I often made my own cards or wrote poetry as gifts. My hobby transformed into a part-time business in 1981 when I was asked by a local stationer to address envelopes for a customer.
I expanded my part-time business to full-time in 2002 when I created PrettyWriting.com.
As an award winning calligraphist and artist, I am able to customize your envelopes, invitations, poetry, certificates of award, illuminations, family tree, etc. to your specifications.
I also teach calligraphy at Arapahoe Community College in Littleton, CO and at the Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, CO.
